Hi there H.O.G., my name is John Ringnell and I live in Arizona . I was in the store the end of June and bought a new Gibson Five-Star J-100 from you guys. I want to thank Curt for helping me to find the right guitar (It’s everything I could have asked for and more) and taking the time to show me several different makes, models, and styles of acoustics. It was a great way to shop and a lot of fun. Also thanks to Bruce for all the conversation, it’s always a pleasure to see him at the front entrance, and it’s nice to talk to such an open and friendly store owner. I’ve been coming to the store every time I’m on vacation there since 1979 (‘bout once every ten years or so) and I always have to stop in. Hi, I have been meaning to connect after having a very good experience in your store a few days ago. It's easy enough when there are problems to report those, but I wanted to let you know that I have never had a better experience purchasing something. The sales person's name was Kurt, and if I need to purchase something else there again, I would definitely ask for him. I was interested in an inexpensive guitar to be able to leave at work without worrying too much about it, and had a couple in mind already to check out. Kurt could not have been more helpful in many ways.....leading me to a private space in the back, accommodating me in playing the guitars himself....and even recommending the less expensive guitar, for my purposes. I liked the smaller body and looks of the somewhat more expensive guitar, so that is the one I bought anyway. But the whole experience led me to believe he was being very honest, along with friendly and accommodating. And the price I got on the guitar was substantially less then the price I had seen on the internet. Again, I just wanted to give you guys some positive feedback, and especially a shout out to Kurt. You know, I really had the feeling that if after all he had done, had I walked out without purchasing anything, that he would not have responded in an unfriendly manner....just the feeling I had.
